The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now offer a series of audio and video hurricane public service announcements (PSAs) for download online. There are a total of 8 video and 16 audio clips broken into four categories: Preparing for the Storm, Staying Safe After the Storm, Cleanup, and Dealing With Stress and Relating to Others.

If you manage a television or radio station - or know someone that does - consider incorporating these 15 second PSAs into your programming during National Preparedness Month this September. Or, work with producers to develop your own preparedness bumpers carrying a similar message.
